RS Divers Ltd. won the contract from Bournemouth Water to examine more than 300 moorings at Christchurch each year to make sure they were in good condition and safe to use.
A team of experienced professionals from RS Divers has examined each mooring above and below the waterline each year to check each one is fit for purpose. Typically, we expect to find wear and tear over the year reduces the thickness of the mooring chains, buoy anchors can drift after storms and debris such as branches may cause problems. We have repaired or replaced every problem we find.
Each year, we write a comprehensive report for the harbour authorities detailing what we have found. Our clients know we help them ensure they have safe and secure moorings for yachts and motorboats for another year.
