RS Divers were commissioned by a major civil engineering company to undertake a series of riverbed surveys on a waterway between Windsor, Taplow and Maidenhead. This stretch of man-made river was being built as part of flood prevention measures and the company wanted to know more about areas of scour.
WORK UNDERTAKEN
Our team of professional and experienced divers took to the water on an almost daily basis. They conducted a variety of scour, shingle, gradient and sheet pile surveys in between heavy lift and construction activities underway by other contractors on site.
THE RESULT
Our comprehensive programme of surveys revealed area of scour that required attention. RS Divers successfully carried out the work before the river was opened.
